Based on analyses using various survey data, I have published papers on gender inequality, the working conditions of service workers, trade unions and rising wage inequality, long working hours, local employment policies, and the difficulties faced by non-standard workers during the Covid-19 pandemic and the role of support systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am currently working on a study of active labour market policies in Japan. I am conducting various surveys targeting local governments, labour market intermediaries, citizens and companies to clarify the implementation of employment policies at the local level in Japan.
